California Speedway is a state-of-the-art auto racing facility. America’s ultimate race place boasts the fastest cars, greatest speeds and most thrills in Southern California. California Speedway is already recognized as one of the best high-banked ovals in the country. The 2-mile D- Shaped track already hosts a Winston Cup event in the spring and a CART open- heel champ car race in the fall. California Speedway is basically broken up into two levels; a lower level (rows 1 thru 23) and a higher level (rows 24 thru 48). Seating areas begin near the exit of turn 4 and end near the middle of turn 1.

The speedway is basically broken up into two levels; a lower level (rows 1 thru 23) and a higher level (rows 24 thru 48). Seating areas begin near the exit of turn 4 and end near the middle of turn 1.

California Speedway is a big 2 mile track that is relatively flat compared other larger tracks and because of his success and current run, Edwards is the clear cut favorite this week at 9 to 2. It is a two-mile D-shaped oval superspeedway with a 1.3 mile infield road course located on 529 acres in Fontana, CA, San Bernardino County. Designed to offer the ultimate in fan enjoyment, this track has outstanding views of the entire track with 14 degree banking through the turns, 11 degrees of banking along the front stretch, and 3 degrees banking on the back straight away. This track is a great example of this, as several drivers used the high side of the race track with success during the event. The bottom of the track always seems to prevail in the end, as it obviously is the shorter way around.

Fontana has one golf course and another that is on its way. The California Speedway is located just west of Fontana’s border, and is a wonderful place to take the family. Fontana is served by five different water companies, but none of their service areas overlap. Sewage service in the city is provided by the Inland Empire Utilities Agency, but is billed out by the City of Fontana itself.

California Speedway is not responsible for lost, stolen, misplaced, forgotten or destroyed tickets. Tickets will not be replaced, and it is also served by a Metrolink mass transit rail station. This speedway has also played host to races in the NASCAR Busch and Craftsman Truck series, as well as events in the IndyCar Series and what is now the ChampCar World Series on its oval and road racing and motorcycle events on its road courses.
