Known for his legal thrillers, several of which became the basis for hit movies, John Grisham’s novel “Playing for Pizza” will have its shot on the big screen. The story is about a washed-up national football league quarterback who joins a semiprofessional team playing American football in Italy. A Grisham fan myself, I am sure once again the author will be able to bring us to a breathtaking, exhilarating read.

Not a football enthusiast, I try to watch and understand the game with my father. Excerpts of football games he went to, recorded mouth-gaping moments with his video camera. Owner and manager of a pet shop, Father commissioned one of those PC based DVR security systems which allow him to view his football game recordings.  This remote surveillance paves the way to being able to keep track of your home and businesses even on vacation.
